About Us

Girl Power Girl Strong™  is part of a global movement to effect social change. We empower women to take control of their lives and make a better world.

My name is Tracy Tegan, and I am the founder of the Girl Power Girl Strong™ community. I first created this website under the name MenSuck.com over two decades ago, when the Internet was really still in its infancy. Yes, I later rebranded the website from MenSuck.com to GirlPowerGirlStrong.com (or Girl.Pw for short). When I acquired the MenSuck.com domain name, I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do with it. I knew that I wanted to reach out to other females like myself and discuss common interests, and I used this website to help me do that – to build a community of women like myself and share information to help other women be all that they can be.

My goal is to empower women.

Period.

Nothing more.

Nothing less.

As for me, I am happily married to the most wonderful man. We’ve been together for many years now. I couldn’t dream of spending my life with anyone else. So see, I don’t hate men! I really created the original site to be light-hearted fun. I mean, what girl in their lifetime hasn’t said MEN SUCK!? So yes, I’m a real person with real interests, who, over two decades ago, saw a need to help share valuable information with other women like myself. As time went on, the phrase became considered hate speech on social media platforms, so we had to rebrand the website, which is how we got the new name (GirlPowerGirlStrong.com).

The purpose of this website is to empower women and to give them a safe place to talk about their own experiences with men and life in general. This website offers a wealth of information on contemporary women’s issues, such as relationships, pregnancy, career advice, and more. Here you can also get a good laugh at our stupid men jokes or worst pick-up lines, get your daily horoscope, or read about dating stories from other women just like you.

If you are having a problem with your boyfriend, you can write in and ask for advice in our love and romance advice section of the Girl Power Girl Strong™ site. In short, Girl.pw is a site for women just like you because, in the end, we’ve all been there, and together we are stronger. Membership has its privileges, and best of all, membership is free! What are you waiting for? Join us today. MEMBERSHIP IS FREE! We do not charge you to join this website. We will never ask you for money. This website is 100% free. It’s always been free and will always be free.

The purpose of this website, as I have said before and will say again, is to empower women by sharing invaluable information to help them be all that they can be. It’s also my goal to give women a safe place to talk about relationships and life in general. And yes, that includes giving women a place to report their ex-boyfriends. Women should have a place where they can talk about their bad experiences with men. Relationships aren’t always a bed of roses, and sometimes we need somewhere where we can vent out our frustrations about relationships that have gone bad.

Fun Female Fact: According to the last U.S. Census, there are 147.8 million females in the United States. That means there are more of us than there are men as there are only 143 million males out there. Although the ratios of men to women vary by age group, the largest difference is in the senior category. For those 85 years of age and over, there are more than twice as many women as men.

Not so fun female fact: For every $1 a man earns, their female counterpart will earn but $.76. This number is despite the fact that we may be just as educated or overall qualified to do the same job. In fact, did you know that more women than men graduate high school? It’s true … females have a higher rate of high school completion than males, yet on average, we earn less money than males to do the very same jobs.
