The Summer is a great time for a little romance! We all know the trope; a summer fling that you end up fantasizing about for years to come. The sun is out, the days are longer, and people are breaking out their sandals and swimsuits! Maybe you and your honey are trying to spice things up for the season, or youâre single and looking for some activities to do with a new special someone. Either way, Iâve got the perfect list for you!Â
- Have a Beach Day
Finally! An excuse to break out the lawn chairs and that cute picnic basket you never get to use. Thereâs nothing like getting your toes in the sand and splashing around in the summer sun. Fill up a cooler with your favorite drinks, donât forget the sunscreen, and bring a speaker so that you and your date can enjoy your favorite tunes as you get a tan together. I guarantee youâll be worn out by the end of the day and ready to cuddle up and watch a movie, or maybe even get cleaned up in the shower (wink wink).Â
- Take a Road Trip
What screams summer more than a mini-vacation? Pick a random place and road trip there for the weekend. You could get a hotel room, Airbnb, or even go camping! Just visit one of your favorite nearby towns or look online for some quirky new place youâve never been to. The options are truly endless from antique shopping and wineries to local treasures. It would be a great memory to look back on!Â
- Watch Some FireworksÂ
Throughout most of the summer, you can find many places putting on firework displays. Especially around the 4th of July, you and your date could take a blanket somewhere with a nice view and enjoy the show together. You could even get sparklers to really immerse yourself in the experience. If youâre in a place where setting off your own is legal, then that could be a fun activity to do together too.Â
- Visit Your Local MuseumÂ
Going to the museum during the summer is a staple activity! Be sure to put on your cutest outfit and take lots of pics as you walk around and learn about different wonders of the world together. Be sure to check for discount days too, because theyâre super common this time of year. Whether it be art, science, or history; look online and see what adventures await you and your boo!Â
- Go to an Amusement Park
The lines are long for a reason, but the wait is so worth it! Amusement parks are a great way to get out on a summer day. At least, when itâs not scorching hot outside! But a big novelty cup full of lemonade helps with that problem. Eat delicious fried foods and get your heart pumping on some roller coasters, and the last thing youâll be thinking about is how hot it is! But probably not how hot your date is.Â
