A Beginners Guide to Contouring

A Beginners Guide to Contouring

Everyone seems to be talking about makeup contouring lately and if you are like me and tried to do it yourself, you know it’s not really that easy.

Some people say you need expensive makeup to do it right. Turns out that isn’t the case. You can get what you need at the drugstore.

Check out the L’oreal Infallible Sculpt. It’s what beauty guru Roxxsaurus recommends.

The other thing you are going to need to follow along with her video tutorial are two makeup brushes to blend it out.  She said in her video (which you can watch down below) that it’s a common mistake people make to use only one brush and that can make it look muddy.

First she uses her foundation brush to blend in the highlights. Next she uses a contour brush on the darker. You’ll see what I mean below.

If you don’t have a set of makeup brushes you can get them really anywhere, even online. Check out these I found at Amazon.

Now that you have the makeup you need and the brushes, all you need to do is watch this great video to explain in detail exactly how to do it.

I am the resident health and beauty expert. Okay, I'm not so much an #expert as I am totally in love with all things makeup, but that's close enough, right? :)
