Have you ever wanted to be a Disney Princess? Well, now you can get one step closer with a line of Disney Princess-inspired lipsticks by LA Splash. Sadly the originals are no longer available from the LA Splash website, but don’t worry; I have some alternatives for you below. Who doesn’t love a good dupe?
The Original Disney Princess Lipsticks
But what did these Disney Princess lipsticks from LA Splash look like when they were around?
The Disney Princess Lipsticks had several shades, which included:
- Nala
- Belle
- Esmeralda
- Faline
- Tiana
- Alice
- Aurora
- Ariel
- Jasmine
- Dutchess
- Lady
- Evil Queen
They also once released a Harry Potter-inspired line of lipsticks.
LA Splash Cosmetics created this line of Disney princess-inspired lipstick colors, which directly reflect the pretty hues seen on cartoon characters. Incorporating animated colors into each lipstick brings a creative and nostalgic theme to the cosmetic industry. The colors range from light pinks to deep purples. Each color is designated to a specific Disney princess. For example, pink for Aladdin‘s Jasmine and a soft yet bright pink for The Little Mermaid‘s Ariel. Even a glittering tan-colored lipstick represents Nala from The Lion King films.
Disney Princess Lipstick Dupes
So now that LASplash no longer has these shades available, what can you do? Not to worry! I did some digging to find some shade alternatives from you from other brands. I guess we can call them Disney Princess Lipstick Dupes.
Nala: Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick 102 (Amazon)
Belle: Sisley Phyto-Lip Shine Lipstick Sheer Beige (Amazon)
Esmeralda: NYX Suede Matte Lipstick – Shade Cyberpop (Amazon)
Faline: NYX Matte Lipstick – Shade Gold Digger (Amazon)
Tiana: Umbrella Club Los Angeles matte liquid lipstick shade darker the berry
Dutchess: Guerlain KissKiss Roselip Hydrating & Plumping Tinted Lip Balm in Wonder Violette (Amazon)
Now, LA Splash didn’t include an Elsa lipstick, and I think that’s just a shame, so I went out and found the perfect color I thought best defined her; Stargazer Blue Glitter Lipstick.
Here is a swatch of the Stargazer brand of Blue Glitter lipstick, so you’ll know what it looks like when it’s actually on you.
If you’re like me and you love a good Disney movie then, hopefully, you’ll enjoy checking out some of these great Disney Princess Lipsticks. If you find even better dupes than the ones I’ve already listed, please comment down below and let us know about them!
