How to Radiate Confidence - 5 Tips To Help You Shine

Look The Part

You know the saying “dress for the part you want”? Well, that applies here, too! If you want to be seen as a powerful and strong woman, then you have to start by looking the part! Dress for success by styling yourself in a way that makes you feel good. It is important to stick to what YOUR idea of beauty and confidence looks like.

Additionally, take some extra time out of your day for some self-care. Whether that be a face mask or spending some more time on your hair care routine, work towards investing time in yourself and your appearance! It may all seem superficial, but it really makes a difference in your mental state.

Power in Numbers

Women are most confident when they are surrounded by other women who are supportive and encouraging. Making time for your friends promotes a healthy mindset by reminding you that you have a great support system. Prioritizing this will allow you to be confident on this inside as well as the outside,

Be Approachable

There are many ways you can have a more open and approachable aura. Focusing on your demeanor can allow you to conduct yourself in a way that gives off the idea that you are self-assured. In order to achieve this, be sure to have good posture and open body language, such as not having your arms and legs crossed. Don’t overthink it! As you start to feel more confident, your body language will naturally follow.

Recognize Your Worth

A good exercise to help with low self-confidence is to sit down and think of all of your positive attributes and write them down. Even if you are struggling, give yourself credit for anything you can think of. There are many aspects of your life that you could possibly see as something you excel at whether it be friendships, your job, or just having a great personality!

Nobody is perfect, but if you are at least making an effort to be a good person, then give yourself some credit for that too!

Give Yourself Time

Though some people may not be willing to admit it, everyone struggles with their confidence from time to time. Be sure to remind yourself that the process of building yourself up isn’t always going to be easy, and some days you will feel like you are back at square one. This is normal, and you are not alone! Take the time you need to collect yourself and continue on with your journey. All of your hard work will pay off in the end.

We don’t always feel our best, but that doesn’t mean we can’t fake it until we make it. Sometimes even when you are feeling your worst, you have to put your best foot forward and fake that smile so that the world sees we have our shit together, even if you don’t. It’s perfectly okay to pretend to be okay. Life isn’t always easy, but if we put our best foot forward and put on a radiant smile, the world will smile back at us. We have to put out that positive energy to attract positive energy in return.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, the secret to success is the power of positivity!
