I was watching TV the other day when I heard a psychologist say, “Men fall in love with virtue, not vaginas.” This doctor was giving advice to a single male looking for his wife, and well, I won’t bother you with the details of the show I was watching because it’s really irrelevant to what I want to say. The real point of this article is that the woman was right; men do fall in love with virtue, even if they don’t realize it.
When we meet a guy, we like our hormones go wild, and all too often, we find ourselves in compromising positions. That is a huge mistake for so many reasons.
- #1 Men like a challenge, and what bigger challenge than to try and get you to give it up?
- #2 Men may say they like a sexually free girl, but in the end, that’s not the kind of girl they want to take home to their mother.
So if you really want to get serious with a guy, stop giving it up on the first, second, or third date. Give him a challenge; make him pursue you. I’m not saying you have to wait until you get married but do wait until you are in a serious relationship or, as the Millionaire Matchmaker says, “No sex before monogamy.”
