This story picks up where the last one left off. Well sort of. It actually skips forward 7 years but you don’t miss any major things in those seven years because basically with the loss of Tristan she was just dead inside. The first book in the series ended on a crazy cliffhanger that really made you have to get this book or risk going insane not knowing what happened next.
I loved how things worked out for Alexis and her family.
It was a good story, a good followup from the first book in the series. It wasn’t however good enough for me to want to read the next book in the series. It ended well and for me, that was enough.
I am told the series goes on for like 7 more books where things get crazy for Alexis and her family but I just wasn’t drawn into the series enough to care to find out what those things are.
It was a decent enough book. I was happy with both the books in the series.
But a lot of things bothered me. In the first book, it was her constant whining, and in this book, it was the multiple personalities. I don’t know, it’s hard to explain unless you actually read the story and then you’ll be like oh yeah I get it.
