Holiday Sparks is a holiday-themed contemporary romance novella by Shannon Stacey. I loved it. I mean who doesn’t love a holiday romance story? Even though it came out all the way in 2010, I still totally recommend it.

This was the first book I ever read by Shannon Stacey who has quickly become one of my favorites. Her Kowalski series is a must-read. But first, let’s talk about this little gem.
Holiday Sparks is the story about a girl who grew up in a small town. After high school, she left home and wasn’t looking forward to coming back home to house sit for her parents during the holidays, who were going on a month-long cruise. When she is there she runs back into a guy who she didn’t really remember but boy has he changed over the years. He’s now pure sexy and things heat up between them pretty fast.
This is one of those stories that you will immediately fall in love with. The characters are all lovable, the writing was spectacular but the story itself was one of those pull at your heartstrings kind of stories that you will without a doubt want to go back and read again, maybe even two or three times.
I love Shannon Stacey and this book is a perfect example as to why. She’s a great writer and her stories are always incredible.
