This is yet another book from a USA Today Bestselling Author that while technically a decent enough read, you won’t remember much about it, five minutes after you complete it.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a decent story that while reading it I rather enjoyed it. But it’s not so outstanding that a month from now you’ll remember much about it.
While a decent, well-written story, I found the characters were hard to connect with. It falls into the category of, not bad but could have been much better. It was just okay for me.
The plot was fine but I honestly didn’t really feel connected with the characters. I think what makes it so forgettable is that it’s formulatic. It’s the same thing as every other romance novel out there right now. Girl meets rich boy. She resists him. He finds her unresistible. They hook up, fall in love, the end.
I would say if you catch it on sale, pick it up for a quick weekend escape, otherwise, I’d pass. I wouldn’t pay full price for it.
