The Power of YOU

Let’s talk about the power of positive thinking. It’s probably something you’ve heard about it before but you probably didn’t pay much attention to it.

The crazy thing is, if you actually put some effort into doing it every single day, it can make a massive difference in your life.

For me, it all started years ago when I heard this study which basically said that if people kept telling kids they were stupid and lazy that eventually, they would start to believe it and then be stupid and lazy.

I wondered if it worked one way, would it work the other?

So I began a little test. Each and every day when I woke up I would look at myself in the mirror and repeat ten times the following sayings ….

You are fabulous and today is going to be a great day!

At first, it was a little awkward but after a few days, it got easier. Then after a few weeks, I noticed a change in my life – a real, noticeable difference.

I began to really believe the saying “if you can dream it, you can do it”.

I began to have more confidence at work and in my personal life and that’s really when my life changed.

I started dating and during those dates, I stopped looking for the one guy who would be okay with me and instead started looking for a guy that really was perfect for me and that deserved me and all that I had to offer.

So if you find you are having trouble finding the perfect man, it’s time to start each and every day by looking in the mirror and saying something positive to you every single morning.
