I absolutely love hot chocolate, but who doesn’t? So when I heard about the Nutella life hack I just had to try it and see if it really does work and made fabulous hot chocolate if you don’t have any hot chocolate mix available.
Here is how it works. Just add a tablespoon to a glass of milk, then microwave it for 2 minutes. Stir, toss in a marshmallow or two (marshmallows are optional), and then enjoy the true and utter deliciousness.

I know that everyone loves to call everything a “life hack,” and well, I’m with you on that one, it’s annoying because, more often than not, these things are just stupid or don’t even work, but I have been working to try these out as I come across them and help to highlight those life hacks that do work.
So yes, this Nutella one really is tested and works great. It’s a wonderful way to make some. hot chocolate in a pinch when you don’t have any cocoa on hand.
Also, for the record, I have tried it without heating it up. While great in theory, it didn’t really mix up the Nutella in the milk, so you do have to go ahead and heat it up.
