I think it’s pretty clear that romance novels are made for women. The reason men don’t enjoy them is simply because men and women are different and romance novels are written based on what women desire. What’s sexy or romantic to us, may not be so for men and in some cases it’s built into our DNA. For example, men want to be hunters, and they want to be the hero.
So which if Twilight was made for men? What if they took things that men found romantic and put those in the story? How would it change the story? Well, someone made a great YouTube video explaining just that thing and it’s incredibly insightful about the romantic relationships and needs of men and women.
