In 2016 we wrote a story about the popularity of the Kardashians but times have changed and well, 4 years later, Khloe Kardashian almost broke the internet when she released photos of herself on Instagram.
Honestly I was shook – but in a good way. I mean I really believe that if you have something about yourself that you don’t like, it’s totally your right to change it. Good for her for taking the initiative! She has yet to discuss what specific work she had done, but it’s clear her jawline is much thinner. And hey, I’m seriously okay with whatever work she had done. If it makes you happy, then you do you!
But with Khloe Kardashian on my mind I started thinking about the family as a whole and wondered now that so many years have passed and well Kylie is now a billionaire, just who is the most famous Kardashian? Will it play out the same as it did in 2016 or will time have changed everything?
In 2016 here are the rankings of popularity based on the total number of times people Googled the person in question. In other words, the more time someone is out there searching for you, the more famous you are. In 2016 Kim Kardashian came out on top.

We revisited this report in 2018 and Kylie Jenner came out just a little more popular than her sister 29 million searches, whereas Kim Kardashian had only 26 million. I took out Rob Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Caitlyn Jenner in this report. Let’s be real, those three have no chance to compare in popularity to the sisters, so we’ll just keep them out of the rankings altogether.
It’s now 2020 – Have the numbers? Let’s find out …
According to Google Trends, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian are still pretty close in terms of overall popularity. If we only count popularity for 2020 then Kylie Jenner slightly inches out Kim Kardashian.

Until the new photos of Khloe Kardashian were released on Instagram, Khloe and Kendall Jenner were tied, however, Khloe’s popularity has skyrocketed, putting her ahead of Kendall. And then last but not lease is Kourtney Kardashian.
Kylie and Kim are about twice as popular as Khloe and Kendall, and about three times as more popular as Kourtney.
